I am Yolandé, your Host at House Hamburg. Thank you
for visiting our website on the Internet.
House Hamburg is situated in the picturesque
Muizenberg Village, a mere 20 minute drive away from Cape Town city
centre. The house is within easy walking distance to the beach and
the famous Surfer's Corner, The Masque Theatre; Natale Labia
Museum; the unique Toy Museum and Cecil John Rhodes'
cottage. An exciting scenic drive around False Bay will take
you to the picturesque Kalk Bay harbour; Boulders Beach with its
famous penguin colony; Simonstown Naval base; Cape Point and the
Republic of Hout Bay.
 House
Hamburg offers many possibilities to a tourist as it is situated
midway between the 
Victoria and
Alfred Waterfront, which gives you access to
Robben
Island,
Table
Mountain and
Cape Point. A
drive along a winding beach road will take you to the
famous Cape Wine Route . Our location is ideal for golfers,
surfers, hikers, bird watchers or simply just a romantic getaway. We
are within walking distance of False bay Station which is just down
the line from Newlands - traditional home of South Afircan Rugby
& Cricket.
 The
house boasts 8 en-suite bedrooms and two self-catering
apartments. As well as acting as your hostess, I am a professional
hairdresser and will gladly style guests’ hair in my fully
equipped in-house salon.
Enjoy a generous, hearty breakfast in the sunny
dining room or on the shady patio or simply arrange for your
breakfast to be served in your room. Full dinner or dinner trays for
late arrivals can be arranged beforehand.
We shall gladly organise your trips to and from the
airport and book your sightseeing tours.
 House
Hamburg has been a rest house for weary travellers for the last 90
years and I hope that you will be able to enjoy its comforts
and savour the succulent local cuisine when you spend your
holiday with us.
House Hamburg traditionally caters for all peoples
of different cultures and languages and although we are able to
offer all types of cuisine to the families of our global society our
foods are all strictly Halaal. We respect also the power of the
"Pink Rand".
